What does the Anti-Wrinkle treatment do?

The Anti-Wrinkle treatment can be used to improve and reduce; forehead lines, masseters muscles, crow’s feet, frown lines, pebbled/dimpled chin and downturned mouth.

What happens during my treatment?

The treatment involves small amounts of botulinum toxin injected into areas of the upper face to relax them. A safe yet effective way to help lift your face with natural-looking results.

Things to do before your Anti-Wrinkle treatment

Before your appointment, please take note of the below:

-Avoid wearing any make-up or fake tan at your appointments

-Try to avoid any excessive sun exposure 4 weeks before treatment

-Avoid abrasive treatments such as any layering, waxing or chemical peels 2 weeks before treatment

Treatment Length

Treatment can take around 20 minutes at our clinic. You will know what to expect before the treatment as you have a consultation beforehand, to which we can tell you how long your treatment should take.

Downtime

Usually, you need about 24 hours afterwards for recovery. The most common side effects tend to be swelling, bruising and a little redness.

Duration of Results

Anti-wrinkle treatment results should start to show around 2-3 days after the treatment. With the maximum results in place 12-14 days later. Results should last 3-4 months before a top-up treatment is needed.

What to Expect

You will have a discussion with the practitioner beforehand to ask any questions you may have. We use a very small needle when doing the anti-wrinkle treatment to minimize discomfort during treatment to which the targeted areas are injected.

Risks

Anti-wrinkle injections prove to be a very low-risk treatment and has a very good safety record.

Aftercare

You’ll be given aftercare tips on the day to reduce swelling and bruising. We advise you to avoid extreme heat or exercise within 48 hours afterwards.
